Every piece that leaves my studio is handled by a professional packaging service to ensure the safe delivery of your piece.

Shipping Time: All items are custom made, and lead times will vary for the shipment of your piece. Typically our lead time is 3-4 weeks however, please inquire about our current lead time when contacting us.

We ship to your door with UPS on smaller items such as side tables, end tables and shelving. Every order is fully insured and signature required. UPS will make 3 attempts to deliver.

International shipping: International shipping is available, please inquire for a shipping quote on specific items based on the country of destination. Shellback Iron Works will not assume responsibility for payment of tariffs required for entry of your country. In most cases, we will assume responsibility for due payment of international shipping administration fees.

For larger items we use UPS Freight or Pilot Freight Co. depending on the size of the item. Some items say terminal to terminal in the description, that means you would have to pick up at the shipping terminal on your end. This can save quite a bit of money on most items. If you would like, you can request for your items to be shipped to your door by providing us with your zip code and we will respond with a quote for you right away.

The freight company's will deliver the item to your house. They will not bring the item inside. If you live off the ground floor or have other circumstances that will make a freight delivery difficult please let us know. We will have to arrange white glove service for your item to be brought up to you at an additional cost.

UPS DAMAGE: Items damaged in transit will need to be photographed in the box with package still attached. As soon as you notice damage we will need pictures of the outside and inside of the box. All packing materials will need be to saved. We will need to be notified of damaged items within 48 hours, either by email or phone at 314-341-9194.

In some instances we will file a claim with the shipping company. We will need the item back and either a replacement item will be sent or we will refund you your money.

FREIGHT DAMAGES: Freight truck shipments will need to be documented while the truck is still at the delivery address. Write "visible damages" on the bill of lading and have the driver initial the note. Take multiple pictures as well as pictures of the damaged piece. If there is any damage you will be responsible for filing a claim with the trucking company.
